Dinosoles

I took the boys shopping for shoes the other day. Do you know what it takes to keep shoes on ten little feet? Boys need sneakers, church shoes and sandals (a year round necessity down here). Girls are even worse. You need white church shoes and black church shoes, different colors for different outfits. I spend a lot of money on shoes, however, none of them are for me. Anyway, Jaker chose these"Dinosoles". They have a T-Rex on the side and teeth on the toes. He was very excited about the tracks on the bottom. He wouldn't even look at other shoes. Air thought they were the perfect 6-year-old boy shoe. I think they are hideous. It reminds me of a few years ago, when I let the boys choose their costumes for Halloween. Josephus wanted to be a toilet. Luckily, I was able to talk him into something else. My sister Annie, pointed out that is why other moms don't give their kids choices. I think the same goes for shoes. I guess I either have to be a dictator or suffer the consequences. Maybe the shoes will just wear out quickly.
