Honey, Honey

The other day, Vanessa informed me there was a bee in her ear. I asked her how she discovered the bee. She said, "There is honey in my ear." We found the Q-tips and cleaned her ear. Now it is honey free.

When she is talking with me and referring to Aaron she calls him "your honey." Aaron has been traveling a lot lately so, Vanessa let me know, "It's too scary when your honey is gone." In other words, she wanted to sleep with me. With her comes books, teddy bears, dolls, night lights, cookie cutters, a seashells, acorns and dominoes. You get my point.
Savanah usually falls asleep quickly in her room. Going to school just wipes her out. Vanessa stays up until the lights go out. The other night she looked up at me with a little smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. She said,"Let's cuddle." That is enough to melt any mother's heart. I loved the fact that while we cuddled she was snoring a fake snore. She loves to sleep right next to me. I'm glad she is willing to be my honey while Aaron is gone. The problem is when Aaron returned, she asked if I could go to work. I guess she wanted to cuddle my honey without me.

My Little Harry Potter

As most of you know, Harry Potter grew up sleeping in the cupboard under the stairs. I recently found Vanessa sleeping in the bookcase.
She had pulled the books onto the floor in order for her to have a resting place. Her nap wasn't very long (maybe because it's not very comfortable sleeping on hardwood).
