The girls love to help me bake, especially when it comes to licking the beaters. I think this is definitely part of childhood. I enjoy baking, so it doesn't take much to convince me we need a treat. I start going through withdrawals if I don't use my stand mixer at least once a week.
Air took the girls and I out for ice cream yesterday to Cold Stone Creamery. They had cake batter flavored ice cream. It was delicious. Cake batter and ice cream, what more do you need in life?

We also like to lick beaters at our house, I think it is definitely part of being a child. I think cake batter ice cream sounds good....except I've never tried cake batter ice cream. It sounds very interesting. Why did the boys not get to participate, were they in school?
The boys were in school that day. Air likes to take all of his girls on a date. He is also good about taking the boys with him on Saturdays. As for the ice cream, it tasted exactly like yellow cake batter. Yummy!
