Aaron's younger sister Lauren was in a beauty pageant for Miss Idaho Days last week. We took the girls to the pageant. Vanessa didn't last long before Aaron was out in the hall with her. Savanah, however, sat through the whole thing. Her favorite part was when the girls came out in their evening gowns. She sat up straight with her hands in her lap. She wanted to know the name of each girl and if their were Tia's friend. Our kids have always called her Tia (it means aunt in Spanish).
Lauren performed wonderfully and won 2nd Attendant. We are all quite happy for her. She is amazing for even entering the contest and being on stage didn't even seem to faze her.
Savanah tried on Lauren's tiara and told me she wants to wear it to church next week.
