Aaron's brother Mike & his wife are going on a cruise this week. I told them they could borrow my camera. As they drove away I realized this meant that I wouldn't have a camera. Aaron rolled his eyes when I told him I could not go an entire week without taking a picture (maybe this is another one of my obsessions). My mom let me borrow hers. She is such a kind person.
It is strange going back to using a film camera. I love being able to instantly see what the picture looks like after I take it. I have been famous for cutting off people's heads in photos. Since I'm not a great photographer, instant replay is an important feature. I also like to down load pics onto my computer shortly after taking them. This makes posting them to my blog fast and easy. Now, I will have to wait until I have taken the entire roll of film before I can develop them. The nice thing about film cameras is that you develop film after taking 24-36 pictures. The one major down fall to digital cameras for me, is that I never get the pictures printed. I have about 2000 pics stored on my computer. If it ever crashes I will go into a deep depression. I know I need to start developing them. I'll probably have to do it in small increments. If you have any suggestions, let me know.
In the mean time, while we all wait for me to take 24 pictures. I'll post some of the pictures I've taken recently and never had the time to write a post.

Your hard drive will fail. Not having backups of unreplacable data is a dissapointment waiting to happen. I know from personal experience. I lost a bunch of pictures to a dead hard drive. I decided that I really didn't want to lose them and ended up spending A LOT of money to have a professional service recover them. There is an easy and much cheaper solution to the problem. Lots of companies out there sell external USB hard drives. Most of these drives come with some sort of automatic backup software. I highly recommend that you purchase one and regularly backup your important data. This won't solve the I lost everything in a horrible natural disaster problem, but it does help prevent losing data to a hard drive failure. Just do it.
Okay, that is scary. I think I will go buy a hard drive. Aaron's solution is to stop taking pictures and that's not going to happen. Thanks for the advice.
