The Shoe

Shortly after we moved, I took all the kids to buy sandals for the summer. With four-n-more, this is not for the faint of heart. I found these sandals for Vanessa that I just fell in love with so, I bought them and paid full price. The very next day, we went to Walmart, a huge Super Walmart, with a long list of things to buy. It wasn't until I was checking out, that I realized Vanessa had lost one of her shoes somewhere in the store. We had been in almost every corner of the store from hardware, to electronics, to grocery. I looked around to no avail. I checked their lost and found the other day, and they had not received it. So, next time your in Walmart, keep your eyes open for a little pink shoe that has only been worn for 30 minutes.

It's nice to hear from you. I'm happy to know that you are doing okay. The thought of losing shoes throughout their lives is not encouraging.
