Animorphs

The boys have been reading a series of books by K.A. Applegate named Animorphs. It is about kids that can "morph" into animals. I asked them the philosophical question, "If you could be any animal which would it be?" Esteban would be an Anaconda, the world's largest snake. Ethan wants to be a Peregrine Falcon (because it can fly 200 m.p.h.) AJ's favorite animal is the Cheetah, but he decided that it would scare everybody away. The next thing I know, he is chanting "Monkey, Monkey". Savanah wants to be a white rabbit, (see previous post). I would venture to guess Vanessa would be a puppy, since every dog she sees, she starts to bark at it. I think she is trying to communicate with the dog, who knows, maybe she does. I would be a Dolphin. I'm not sure why, because I'm not a very strong swimmer. Aaron would be a Tiger, which I think is fitting, he does have an imposing personality.

I'm sure you knew I was going to ask, What animal would you be?

I would be a panda bear or a penguin. I love how rolly poley pandas are and they are rare and only native to China. And I like how penguins walk. Has the kids seen March of the Penquins?

Pandas and Penguins seem so vogue to me, you do as well, so I think it's a perfect fit. One day, I want to be like you. As far as March of the Penguins, we haven't seen it. I heard it was really good, thank you for reminding me that I want to see it.

you have to see march of the penguins! and i don't know about pandas and penguins being vogue. pandas are kind of pudgy and lazy and like to chew on bamboo and roll around on the ground. i think i'd like that lifestyle. and penguins are faithful to their soulmates for at least the year they are with them before they go off and find a new soulmate the next year. i like that sort of loyalty in animals. plus, the waddle when the walk. :)
