Intelligence

The other day, while shopping with the girls, we were near the check-out when they both wanted some candy. They had behaved well in the store, so I gave each of them a package of candy. Before I had time to pay for our things, Vanessa had the plastic wrap off, the container opened, and was enjoying her treat. Savanah was struggling with hers. She whined and cried until I opened for her.

This has left me pondering. Which person is more intelligent, the one who figures out a way to do it themselves or the one that manipulates some other person to do it for them?

In the case of my girls, I don't think one is better then the other, they are just different.
