We went to Idaho on Saturday to see Aaron's parents and again, raid their garden.
We came home with buckets of apples and potatoes, another huge zucchini (don't tell the kids), all the makings for salsa, and elderberries so I can make my own elderberry-apple pie. I have to admit my pie was not as amazing as my father-in-law's.
Esteban cut some of their burnt-orange flowers to make a nice bouquet for the Texas-Ohio State game on saturday night.
We were hoping for a repeat of last year's game, but without Vince Young, it didn't happen. Texas' quarterback, Colt McCoy, will only get better and with a "Texas" name like that he's going to be great.
