The Hogle Zoo

I took the kids to the zoo last week. I was supposed to meet my sister there, but at the last minute, she called to say she didn't feel well, so it was just me and the fab five.

Savanah withdrew into her shell at the playground. She was invited to a princess birthday party and insists on carrying her invitation everywhere she goes.
AJ became a snake's breakfast.
Vanessa got up close and personal with some cat from Africa,
just as Savanah did with a snake. That is too close for comfort with me. I don't like snakes.
The boys tried to convince Savanah that these animals belonged to her.
The penguins were adorable. That is something they didn't have at our local zoo in Texas. I wonder why? AJ and Savanah saw a rhino looking through the window.

Then, decided to ride one.
The zoo opened this new Asian highlands exhibit and it is really nice. I loved looking at the tiger and leopard in what would be their natural habitats.
Then, Vanessa & Savanah tried to ride a caterpillar home.
