Saturday was a special day in the life of AJ. He was baptized.
He has a special bond with his dad since they share their name, blues eyes, and allergies. Now, they have something else to add to the list.

This was my favorite picture of the day.

After the baptism we had all our both of our families over for lunch. It was a nice day and we enjoyed great weather for eating outside.

He enjoyed all the attention and especially playing with one of his best friends from Texas. Caleb's family is visiting relatives in Provo and made the trip up north for AJ. It really was a special day in so many ways.

I remembered being in Texas when Esteban was just a baby, we attended the baptism of a little boy. At that point, I couldn't imagine Esteban ever being old enough to get baptized. Now, my youngest son is that old. It made me realize how easy it is to blink and how quickly time goes by.

its more crazy for me to think that you have a son that is old enough to become a deacon this year! by the time i have kids, your kids will already be home off their missions!
I haven't faced the reality of Esteban's age yet.
Think of it this way, when you have kids, my kids can babysit for you. It's a perfect plan!
