Vanessa crawled and sprawled under the piano.
On another day, she fell asleep on the top stair. This is the nightgown she was wearing when she helped me paint Millie the horse. You can see the blue paint that remains. She also smeared diaper rash ointment all over her skin before falling asleep on her way upstairs. (Don't ask about the ointment, it's a Vanessa thing.)
Savanah fell asleep recently listening to the ipod in the kitchen.
Running through the sprinklers and helping me make brownies wore Vanessa out one day. She laid down on the barstool and was asleep within seconds.

I giggle at some of the places or positions when they sleep. It must be hard for their physical bodies to keep with their energy levels.

One of my favorite places to nap is spread eagle on the hard floor. Or in my steamy hot car on a summer day. Maybe it's in our blood?
