Celebration Week

This week has been a fun week of school for Ethan and AJ. In celebration of Red Ribbon Week (anti-drug campaign) they were able to wear different things each day. They wore red one day. Other days they wore a hat, and their favorite team clothing (they wore burnt orange for the Longhorns of course). Yesterday was inside out day.
I took Ethan to the library last night. He still hadn't changed his clothes around. He didn't seem to care if anybody noticed or not.

Today was crazy hair day. They were really excited about his one.
It was also National Eat School Lunch Week or something like that. The girls and I ate lunch with AJ on Wednesday.
They served a rice bowl that was pretty tasty. I would even be willing to pay more than $ 1.45 for it. I was one of the lucky ones. My friend, who went the previous day, said the cheeseburger didn't even look like meat. We will return again with Ethan today. They are serving a potato bar. Can you go wrong with that? I certainly hope not.

What? They quit wearing burnt orange? And they call themselves Texans, really. Just kidding, but we noticed that they had different colors on. By the way, AJ looks great with a mohawk.

Now that the boys aren't wearing school uniforms four days out of the week, they don't wear burnt orange every Friday anymore. Trust me, they are still true Longhorn fans. They wore their orange shirts on favorite team sport day.

I don't use hair products on my hair so the only thing we had to use was Aloe Vera gel made for sunburns. Needless to say it didn't work so well. AJ's mohawk flattened before recess. By the end of the day, Ethan's "crazy" hair just looked like he went to school straight our of bed. Not a huge exaggeration from most days.
