Gratitude
Every night after scripture study and family prayer, each member of our family shares with the rest of us something they are grateful for. It has been insightful to hear little things the kids are thankful for, such as water, light, and warmth. Vanessa usually says she is grateful for Snowhite, our cat. Last night she said, "I am grateful I can pee my pants." I can honestly say, I do not share her sentiments.

That's funny. She's potty training, right? I know one person that would agree with her, my mother in law. She was on dialysis for a long time because her kidneys didn't work. I'm sure that she would have loved to have been able to pee her pants.
I may not agree with her, but I'm sure your right, anyone who has experienced kidney failure would.
Thank you for looking on the positive side. I'll think of the blessings, next time I'm cleaning up after her.
