The Boot

A few weeks ago, we found out that Ethan has two broken bones in his foot. We are not sure when it happened. (It's a long story.) Ethan has been wearing a brace on his foot for almost four weeks now. We call it "the boot". I told him we should name it. He replied, "Mom, I don't want to get that attached to it." I don't blame him.

He can take it off when he sleeps. Which I'm sure is nice for him. He has to wear it any time his foot touches the ground. Honestly, it hasn't slowed him down that much. He has done amazingly well with it. I still think he is looking forward to his appointment next week when we find out if his foot is healed. Then we'll know if he has to keep "the boot" or give if he can give it the boot.
