Gratitude

 A year or so ago we started to say one thing everyday that we were thankful for. It has been fun to share gratitude with one another. Here are a few things we are thankful for.

- Indoor Plumbing - can't go wrong with that one.
- Electricity
- Running water - especially after the devastation in Haiti
- Technology - We have found our house, cars, and friends on the internet. I prefer to pay bills, shop,    checkout books, find new recipes, and keep up with friends and family on the internet. How did people do it before?
- Fruits that start with the letter "G" - this one needs no further explanation
- Healthy bodies
- Family and friends who love us
- Aaron's job
- Education - even the kids admit this is a good one.
- Sleep - especially when somebody is really tired.
- Warm house - definately a plus in the winter up here
- Our various pets
- Food to eat
- The Gospel of Jesus Christ
- Soft beds - again, when somebody is really tired
- Clothes - another big one
- Warm showers - This was mine on the day I had to take an ice cold shower. That's a long story.
- Sunshine
- Medicine - When somebody is sick. If that person happens to be me than it is chocolate that day.
- Vanessa is usually thankful for what ever she happens to be looking at that very moment. Somethimes she says doors, chairs, windows, etc. etc.
