The whole family was sick while we were in Utah & Idaho for Christmas. Our only consolation was that we would be finished with the flu for the season, so we thought.
It all started last night when Nanny vomited all over both couches. None of the kids have ever thrown up on the couches. The problem is , we paid $100 the day before to have them professionally cleaned. Why did she throw up on the couches the day after we had them cleaned? Why did she throw up on them instead of the tile floor? We have tile floor throughout the house because it is so easy to clean. She walked half way across the house only to puke on the couch. Now, Nessa and Josephus are sick as well. Air and I are nauseated, but I don't know if it's because we have the virus also or whether we are sick from cleaning up after the kids. I love Febreze and disinfectant. They are "must haves" when it comes to sick kids.
My very cool friend in Manhattan, writes about her travels plans to Rome, Barcelona, and Beijing. I write about vomit. We live in different worlds. Beijing sounds really nice about now.

those poor couches! i can't believe you had just cleaned them the day before! i hope the letty and air clan are feeling better! if i were in texas, i would bring you soup.
Next time I buy furniture I'll get leather, microfiber, or any other kid proof material. Thanks for the soup offer. Air actually went on a "soup run" and bought every Cambell's soup known to man. For days, it is all that we ate.We seem to be over the worst of it now.
