The bad news is we scrubbed out most of the paint. You can't even see remnants of the footprints unless you know where to look. We don't have to replace the carpet. I'm sure our budget appreciates that fact, even if I do not.

Good News/Bad News
As most of you know, I don't really like the carpet in our house. The good news is Aaron accidentally tracked paint across our living floor. I didn't feel bad at all. In fact, it was really hard not to be downright giddy about the whole thing.
The bad news is we scrubbed out most of the paint. You can't even see remnants of the footprints unless you know where to look. We don't have to replace the carpet. I'm sure our budget appreciates that fact, even if I do not.

I would have pretended that I was extremely busy with something else, and let it dry. Okay, maybe not. But it is a nice thought.
I don't think I would have hurried to clean it up had I known it was going to come out. I felt like I had to put forth some effort even if I regret it now.
