Destruction Again

I painted our back door green in order to go with the new paint in the kitchen. (Yes, we are still working on that project. We are almost done, though.) The door is made of aluminum so it should take paint without primer. "Should" is the key word here. Hours after I finished, Vanessa ran into the door. Paint peeled off where she had hit. I knew it was a bad sign. I had to peel all of the paint off the door, apply primer, and re-paint it. As I did with the wallpaper that needed to come off, I enlisted the help of the kids. Of course, they were excited to help.AJ asked me, "Are you going to pay me to do this?" I replied, "No, you get to have the satisfaction of destroying something with my permission. " He said, " That's better than money any day!"
