We just returned from a whirlwind spring break family vacation. There was a lot to do in a little bit of time but, the sun was shining so we didn't really care.
I've often felt that family vacation is like pregnancy, you forget how miserable they are until you are in the middle of the next one. This particular vacation wasn't so bad and even quite pleasant.
We did 5 parks and 2 beaches in 7 days at one of the busiest times of the year. There was a lot of standing in lines. I mean a LOT of standing in lines.
A lot of "reminders" to behave.
And a whole lot of fun.
This is what I looked like all week. (This camera bag was obviously designed by a man.) I packed the camera with me EVERYWHERE. It felt like an appendage. I swear it was attached to my body.
However, I didn't mind. I averaged around 300 pictures a day. (I LOVE digital cameras!) I dumped half of those photos when we returned to the hotel room and will make further cuts now that we are home. I'm down to only 650 photos. I won't make you sit through all of them.
This blog is my scrapbook/journal. I plan on recording lots of photos and details of our trip. I don't want to be that annoying neighbor with the long slideshow but, well, I guess I am.

Hello we are twins!! I feel the same way anytime we go anywhere. The camera bag was for sure made by a man!!
Can't wait to see them all!!
I think it makes ya look like Laura Croft Tomb Raider! SEXY!
You're totally not the "annoying neighbor with the long slide show," I can't wait to see them! If you are anything like me, you would forget half your life if it wasn't for the photos!! They help me remember all sorts of things I would normally forget!
