Esteban has been working hard on the basketball court in order to beat his dad in one-on-one. He practices shooting three pointers everyday. He is still so short that it's hard to score on Aaron any other way. When they play, Aaron plays hard, maybe not his hardest, but he doesn't let Esteban win. The other day, he was letting the game stay close when Esteban dropped 3 three-pointers to win the game. Esteban was so happy. Now, he is quite certain that he is ready to play with Aaron and his uncles this summer.
It is fun to see him grow up, I think the day will come, sooner than later, when Aaron won't be able to beat Esteban no matter how hard he plays. Aaron and I, much to our dismay, keep getting older while Steb just gets taller. I think this might be the beginning of the end of Aaron's reign on the basketball court in our family. Now, Ethan is practicing his shots everyday. Maybe I should start as well.
