Arrrrg! Science Projects

I have been bracing myself for this. Science projects are so much work and I have to times it by three. What will I do when all the kids are in school? That might be a good time for my trip to Beijing. This is the dilemma I always find myself in, how much should I do on it and how much should the kids do? Some projects turned in are clearly the product of way too much parental involvement. The school judges the projects and the top projects go on to the district science fair. I'm not aiming for competition. I 'm just aiming for survival. Jaker's project involves cleaning pennies in lemon juice, vinegar, water, tomato sauce, and Coke (we have to wait 24 hours for the results). Josephus, is testing the absorbency of paper towels (FYI: Viva, was twice as absorbent as the others). Steb, our sports nut, is testing different balls to see which has the highest bounce, (FYI:The golf ball) The experiments are the easy part. Now, we need to put all the information on the boards. This is the part that I dread. We only have a few days to finish, so the pressure is on.
