The boys played softball. Their team won against the girls.
They would have been devastated had it been the other way around.
Then, they had an Easter egg hunt. Here in South Texas, they have an Easter tradition with confetti eggs. They crack the end off of an egg, drain it, and let the shell dry out. People save their egg shells for the entire year just to make confetti eggs for Easter. Then, they fill the egg shells with confetti and glue a piece of tissue paper over the end to hold the confetti in. The egg is then smashed over another person's head. It is a lot of fun and very messy. It just doesn't seem possible to have a party this time of year without having bits of confetti and egg shells smashed on top of your head.

It looks like ya'll had fun today. I sure miss you and am wishing that I had brought all of you in my suitcase. I think this is the first and maybe the last time I post a comment on your blog, so enjoy! Give the kids hugs and kisses for me.
First of all, I think we'll need to purchase a bigger luggage set if the kids and I are all going to fit. Secondly, you don't have to be 1700 miles away in order to comment on the blog. You must really be missing us if your willing to post a comment. We all miss you terribly.
