Mount St. Helens

On our way through Washington, we stopped at the visitor's center for Mount St. Helens.
My boys love volcanoes. AJ thinks it should be called Volcano St. Helens because it is more than just a mountain. They were excited with the science aspect of it. The visitor's center had a display similar to walking inside the volcano and looking down into the magma chimney. Vanessa was a little bit nervous about going inside a volcano.
The history of the eruption were very interesting to Aaron & I. The pictures of the devastation were fascinating.

We took a short walk down the trail. This is at the trailhead. I love Savanah's pose.

A kind lady offered to take a picture our family. She said she remembers what it is like to camp with 5 kids.

Well, come spend an afternoon cooped up in a hotel room with the kids and you all might find something nasty to say. Whoever you are, thank you for the kind words.
