Scripture Study Field Trip

Since moving here, almost 6 months ago, we haven't taken the kids to Temple Square. That is so sad. Yesterday, we decided to go on a field trip for our scripture study. There is so much to do in and around Temple Square. We went inside the Assembly Hall. AJ was amazed at how beautiful it was and asked why the pioneers made it so nice. He was even more amazed in the South visitor's center when he saw the type of tools they used. Esteban was surprised that it took 40 years to build the Temple. Ethan liked the fact that the Conference Center is 1,000,000 square feet. Savanah liked the stairs(?). Vanessa liked all the water fountains, however, I don't think Aaron liked trying to keep her out of the fountains. We also took a tour of the roof of the Conference Center. It has acres of trees and meadows up there. The view of the sunset was spectacular. We'll have to go on other field trips to see the rest of the sites.
