It was hard going to Lagoon after having season passports to Sea World San Antonio. Lagoon was small, crowded, and not very family friendly. Sea World has play areas where toddlers can play freely while parents take it easy in the shade keeping an eye on them. Here, even the little ones had to wait in line for miniature rides. Air conditioned bathrooms are also a big plus and happened to be missing at Lagoon. Not a good thing when you have to wait in line there as well. I kept reminding myself that it is an unfair comparison but, it was hard not to compare.
There were positive things so, I'll share some of the highlights.

Vanessa didn't like the helicopter ride.
She loved the airplanes. I think it has something to do with the gun she was shooting.
Aaron and the kids went on the Rattlesnake Rapids which takes you directly under a waterfall. I didn't think Vanessa would like getting wet and I certainly didn't want to get wet.
They were all soaked after that. Savanah may look happy in the picture but, she told me should would never ride on that again. Vanessa was happy to she her daddy again. (I think she changed her mind after he picked her up.)
So, it wasn't Seaworld but, we had fun as a family and that is what is important. I think I like amusement parks better as a mom. I enjoy watching the kids have fun.

Lagoon! Man that brings back memories... I don't think I'll say anything else because I might get on a soap box and not be able to get down. Personally, I think it is worth the wait and the money to go to Disneyland, but alas sometimes you have to go for closer and cheaper. Maybe you should try to suggest that they create more kid friendly areas. I don't think that there is even a playground there, is there? Actually, it's pretty surprising considering where the park is located. Oh, well.
It looks like you guys had a lot of fun, even if it was not Seaworld!!!
Yeah, it was fun. Mainly because it was free. (Aaron's company bought everyone's ticket.)
I was surprised Lagoon doesn't have a playground. There were lots of babies and toddlers.(This is Utah, you know.) They had several kiddie rides, but nothing to do that you didn't have to wait in line for. I was a bit disappointed.
