Actual Birthday

Savanah was excited on what she called her "actual birthday" which was December 18th. She got to choose everything we ate that day. We ate cereal for breakfast, macaroni and cheese for lunch, and pizza for dinner.

She is quite certain that she is bigger and can do more things now that she is 5 years old. She helped me mop the floor even though it was her birthday. (She loves to mop and considers it a treat. I doubt she'll feel the same way 10 years from now.)We gave her a Hannah Montana doll for her birthday. When we were shopping, I told Aaron we should get her the $15 doll instead of the $25 doll that sings when you push a button. I was so happy to save the $10. As soon as she opened the gift she said, "Where's the button I push to make her sing?" Aaron and I just rolled our eyes at each other. Ooops!
