Family Party #1

We had a party with my family on the Saturday before Christmas. We went snow sledding at my brother's house, then, we met at Mom & Dad's for dinner. The main course: appetizers!

That's right, all we ate were appetizers. This was a such great idea!
We had stuffed mushrooms, cheese sticks, jalapeno wraps, veggie tray, fruit tray, pizza rolls, little smokies, turkey roll ups, chips, and cranberry salsa. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. We stuffed ourselves on the first course. Delicious! We decided to do it again at another family party.

We opened presents after that. The kids enjoyed opening gifts days before Christmas. There's nothing like getting presents a little early.
My mom made all of the grandkids personalized pillowcases. Esteban's is fire (he is a bit of a pyro), Ethan's looks like human cells (he loves science), AJ's is pirates, Savanah's has fairies, and Vanessa's has butterflies (that is what Vanessa means). It was a thoughtful gift and all of the kids really liked them.
