My Dad

I have always been a Daddy's girl. I think my dad is superman. He can do it all in my eyes.
He went in for back surgery on Monday. The surgery went well. He was home within a few days.

Last Sunday night we gathered together for family dinner. It was not the same without my sister Monica and her family who are in Austin. We miss them terribly. We enjoyed a big dinner, (this is the norm at my mom's house). Then, we came together for family prayer before we left. We prayed for my dad and Monica & her family.

I am grateful for the legacy my dad shares, it is one of service and sacrifice. I am grateful for answers to prayers. I'm grateful to know that families are forever. I'm grateful for both of my parents who taught me the gospel. I'm grateful to know it is true.
