One Hot Date

Our dating life is a lot easier now that Esteban is old enough to babysit. We go out at the drop of a hat. Friday night, we went to the local grocery store on our hot date. Yep, we went grocery shopping together. There are several differences between shopping with my husband verses the kids. For instance, we were not in a hurry, we walked up and down every aisle, and I agreed with everything he put in the cart. The best part of the date was the store was full of sample tables. We left with full bellies and we didn't have to pay a dime (except for our groceries we purchased). We had sausage, cheese ball, pomegranate 7-Up, hot chocolate, and cheesecake. (The lady stepped away from the cheesecake table for a minute so we went back for seconds. Should I not admit that publicly, because I just did.) Anyway, after 14 years of marriage our hot dates come in many different forms.

I know what you are saying! Life gets so crazy that if you don't count Macey's or say.... cleaning out the car a date, you will NEVER get one!! By the way! Nothing wrong with a free meal no matter what you have to do to get it!!!! Glad you had fun!

It is so nice to have an older child that can babysit for us right? You have to do what works for you for your date, at least you were out without the kids.

I'm so glad we are not the only ones that have dates at Macey's and Home depot! I love that Katlyn is old enough also! It's so great.

I am so happy we are not the only ones that go grocery shopping on a date! If we lived closer we could double!
