Out to Lunch with the Girls

Aaron grew up as the oldest of 5 boys. . His mom spent years and years the lone female in the family, outnumbered 6 to 1. When Aaron was 16 years old, along came his one and only sister. Now that the boys are married, the dynamics have changed. It is always fun to go out with all the girls.Last Saturday, I went to lunch with my mother-in-law and all my sister-in-laws on Aaron's side of the family. Every woman at this table has the same last name except for Lauren, who was married in May. (I'm sure it made it hard for the waitress to sort receipts and debit cards.)

We met at Red Robin's. The food was great and the company even better. They have incredible fry sauce there. (For those of you who live outside of Utah, fry sauce is a mixture of ketchup and mayo. This one had BBQ sauce in it. Delicious!). Anyway, I ordered extra fries just so I could keep eating the frysauce. I really should have ordered one extra fry and just licked off the sauce over and over.

After lunch, we headed out shopping for Suzie's baby that is due this month. We ended the day with frozen custard. It was such a fun day. I'm so happy to be a part of this family.
