Role Reversal

My girls have traded places.
Savanah, who has always been a princess, hates it when I blow dry or flatiron her hair. She told me it wastes electricity and that is bad for the Earth. She likes her hair plain and straight.I finally decided it wasn't worth ruining my relationship with her. It wasn't worth the fight. She's happy, therefore, I'm happy. My tomboy Vanessa has recently decided that she does want her hair to be blow dried and curled. She loves jewelry (except for earrings), lip gloss, and purses.
It is interesting to watch your children grow and change. I know they're not done finding themselves, so I just continue to enjoy. I will always love them.

They are such Beautiful girls! It is so fun to watch all the changes kids go through. Brook only lets me do her hair on sundays. I am glad I had one girly girl!
