This trip was with all of my family. Our first stop was at my parent's house where Vanessa proceded to play in the sandbox in her prom dress.
If that wasn't enough, she rolled down the hill a few times just for fun.
The next day we headed out on our caravan. We noticed my sisters and I were each wearing our team shirts. It's the girls in our family who are the sports fans. So fun!!
On our way, we stopped at a drive-in on Main Street in Nephi, Utah. We always ate when we were kids. We ate here often before I-15 bypassed main street. We've never been back since.
My kids were amazed that we not only got out of the car (We always use the drive-thru, which would explain all the fries under the seats.) but we ate our lunch at the park across the street. I threw a soccer ball in the van at the last minute before leaving home which proved to be a big hit at the park with the kids and my brother-in-law, Scott.
I don't think my poor kids realized that you can spend more the 5 minutes eating a meal while on a road trip. It was a whole new experience for them.
We headed down the road where our next stop was Fish Lake. It was so cold and windy there. That didn't seem to stop the kids from having fun however.
We saw something I haven't seen in years. A phone booth.
I don't even know if the phone worked. My kids have never seen this before. They probably thought it was just the entrance to the Ministry of Magic.
The lake was really beautiful that day. I'm guessing that waves like these are rare.

I laughed to myself about the phone booth. Your blog always makes me smile because it feels like I am having a conversation with you.
