The guys are in shorts and t-shirts since it's around 90 degrees outside. Gone are the days of worrying about ice and snow on the roof. When we hang the lights ourselves, we usually get them up around the middle of December and take them back down at the end of March. I can honestly say they never look good. This year we decided there are just some things that are worth paying somebody else to do.
The problem is that at the last minute I decided to add a wreath. The Christmas lights are not that obvious but the wreath hanging on the front of the house is completely obvious.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas and Thanksgiving!
(Don't worry we won't actually turn the lights on till after Thanksgiving.)

We did that this weekend too. Great minds think alike! :) Unfortunately we "hired" ourselves and still have some work left to do. But I am happy to report I will not be climbing on a roof covered in snow to do it this year as I have in years past! All that's left now can be done from a ladder, phew!
