Legacy

This afternoon I had the opportunity to go to my Grandma Beth's room to get some pictures and a few of her belongings with my parents. We found her last journal. She wrote in her journal every day. Most days it was only one line. She recorded her exercises, phone calls/visits, and most importantly, Bingo wins. She wrote an entry for the night before she died. I am sad to think the rest of the page will remain forever blank.

I love the legacy that she leaves for my family. I am grateful for her devotion to family history and temple work. I commit to writing in my journal every day. I believe that every day is a miracle, a gift from God. I want to share the many ways  I see the hand of God in my everyday life. So it is. In her memory I recommit to keep a record of the things that are most important to me. Thank you, Grandma.
