Goodnight, Sweethearts

Savanah went shopping in Target with me the other day. As we were walking by a rack of nightgowns, she yelled, "I need that!" (I have similar feelings when I go shopping sometimes). She convinced me that having a Disney Princess nightgown would help her sleep better. Than, she insisted that Vanessa needed one as well. Luckily, we found a matching nightgown in her size. Savanah tried to convince me that AJ needed a Spongebob nightgown, but I refused to get that one.

It is so different shopping with girls than with boys. First of all, the boys hate shopping and would rather do almost anything than go to a store. It is torture for them, as well as for me. Secondly, clothing for boys is rather boring. Girl's clothing has different styles in a variety colors. There is just something about little girl's princess nightgowns that weaken my resolve and I'm willing to pay full price for them. It is a "need" and not just a "want" after all.

P.S. It hasn't really helped them sleep any better, but I think the fact that they aren't sleeping well has more to do with Aaron being out of town, than their new nightgowns. Maybe it was just a marketing ploy of a three-year-old that happened to fail. Either way she got the gown.
