Back in my day, we had Grease, now, they have High School Musical. It has a better message than Grease, so I'm happy it hit it big. Maybe one day they will do high school musicals of High School Musical.
Aaron didn't want to see it until it was discussed on Mike & Mike in the Morning on ESPN. Now, he's a fan, although he might not admit it publicly because it was kind of cheesy. Esteban loved it. He sees himself as the "sports star" and he's already an actor (remember the Alamo? see post 3-23-06). I like the fact that they cast the smart-beautiful-talented girl as Hispanic. I know some Hispanic girls just like that. Now, I want to buy the DVD which includes sing-a-long words and teaches you the dance moves. No wonder everybody bought the DVD. They didn't do that with Grease. We had to make them up ourselves.

i have seen bits and pieces of this movie when i visit my sister megan. she loves it as well as the little girls she nannys for. i thought it was way cheesy but good for kids. i just thought the main boy in it wasn't cute enough. maybe its because he seems so young. i'm an old woman.
I agree with you on all accounts. It is cheesy and we are getting old.
