Breakfast

I have always been a morning person. Now that the boys are home for breakfast, it's even better. Not only does it give me a chance to make breakfast food, some of my favorite foods, it also gives us a chance to sit and talk before beginning the day. They have time to finish up homework and we do our scripture study in the mornings. Not every morning is picture perfect, this morning for intance. Ethan's homework is still on the counter because we had to rush out the door.

In Texas, the boys wanted to be at school by 7:15 so they could get a few rounds of Pickle ball in (Don't ask, I don't know. I believe it is similar to tennis) and the schools provided breakfast for students free of charge. Here they don't have to be to school until 8:30 and I 'm grateful for the extra time with them. Our budget is paying the price (literally) but, the time we spend together each morning is worth every penny.
