Birthday Eve

Today is Birthday Eve, a very important day I have celebrated since I was a kid. Birthday Eve is all about preparation. I made dinner for tomorrow so I don't have to cook. I made my cake, a delicious ice cream cake recipe. (I know a lot of people who say it is wrong to make your own birthday cake but, I like making cakes and this way, I get exactly what I want.) I have to admit, the best part of the day was when my kids helped me pick up the house so it will be clean for tomorrow. So, the preparations are completed. I'm ready for tomorrow. Hopefully it will be as nice as today. I wouldn't want to spend my Birthday Eve any other way.
