May, It Be.

As you all know, today is the first day of May. This is what we woke up to.I'm not the only one around here who is ready for winter to be over. I wonder when that will happen? In Utah, the snow is essential for people to have water during the summer. The more snow in the mountains, the easier it is to water crops later in the year. (I'm trying to look at it from a positive angle but, it's not easy.)

It is a little discouraging isn't it. But the good thing is that it doesn't last that long and yes, it is so necessary. Your song choice was very calming and actually made me feel better about it. :)

Here's to sunshine tomorrow!

Jonah happened to see the picture and said how lucky you guys were. I guess maybe because he has never been around snow like that. From: Evelyn

Well, Evelyn, I guess it is all in perspective. When I saw the snow, I didn't think of us being lucky. Brenda, is right. The snow has already melted and there is sunshine forcast for tomorrow.

You can come visit us. The high is projected to be 84 today. We are starting to get to the super hot muggy part of the year. Luckily, just as it gets really bad, we will be leaving. Unfortunately, the place we are going isn't as cool as Logan is during the summer. It is still pretty humid and can get pretty hot.

Wow! We got snow that day here too, but it didn't stick like that. You guys have had a killer winter. I thought I had it bad here in Kaysville, but you win! It was sunny today though.

Arlynda- you know I always want to come visit you all especially during the super hot muggy part of the year. What will the winters be like where you are going?

Staci- Yes we had a killer winter but, it is not the prize I wanted to win.

I'm sure that if you ask me what the winters are like in December I'll tell you that they are really cold. But, really they are pretty mild, especially compared to Utah. It snows a few times, but it doesn't stick for that long and the temperatures are usually above freezing.
Summers are hot and muggy, so you could visit me then and enjoy the heat and humidity.
