Food Coloring
Vanessa discovered my food coloring this morning. She made a puddle of it downstairs. Of course, the kittens walked through it so there were green paw prints all over the basement. Just FYI: Food coloring cleans up from tile easily. Now, grout is a totally different story.
She tried to hide the evidence but when your hands look like this it's easy to know who the culprit was. (This is what her hands looked like after we scrubbed them twice.) My food coloring needs to be moved to an even higher shelf and hidden. Just another one of those joys of motherhood.

That is pretty funny. But are you sure it was her? I mean, I am not quite positive that you have enough evidence....he he he.
You don't call her messy Nessy for nothing :).
try using baking powder, a little water and a scrub brush on the grout. They make special grout brushes, if you feel so inclined.
I feel ya on cleaning the grout. Remember my grout filled in with crayon, it is still there. Bailey tries to tell me it was Jerry, but he was at work at the time, so the jury is still out on that one.
How do you keep a smile on your face and gray hairs from covering your head on days like that?? You deserve a "patient mom" award. Just think, she's only 4--you've still got years and years of Vanessa's experimenting & exploring ahead of you :) Good thing she's so dang cute! (Sometimes that is their only saving grace!)
I don't think Nessa would do such a thing. She is to sweet and innocent are you sure you didn't do it then wipe it on her?
I don't think anything is safe in your house. And to think I thought she was such a shy, innocent little girl when I first met her.
I don't think anything is safe in my house. I had it in a high cupboard. I only have one cupboard left that is any higher and I have to get a stool to even reach it.
And there's your "more."
Remember when I said "I don't believe you that Vanessa gets in so much trouble at home"? Well...at the time I meant it 100 percent...you should have seen her in nursery...model child!! Since I started following your blog...ok...I believe you!!haha! So sorry about the food coloring...all I have to say is-Mr.Clean Magic Erasers!!!!
My life has seemed really boring since I have begun reading your blog!
