Run-Skip-Jump

Savanah has started to be really active. She has recently taken up jump roping. She LOVES to be outside just her and her rope. At her talent show in class last week she did some tricks with her jump rope. It's great exercise so I say, you go girl!
She is also really liking soccer this season. She has come out of her shell and actually goes after the ball. She is excited to be playing goalie. I pointed out to her this meant that players would be kicking the ball as hard as they could towards her face. Her eyes lit up and she seemed even more excited.
She scored two goals last week and that also helped with her enthusiasm for the sport.
What happened to my little princess girly girl? I guess she's growing up.

Bo chose jump roping as his talent too.. which makes me laugh that it's all the rage lately. I love that it's such a simple, kinda "retro" activity-- and that
1st graders all over town are doin' it-- I don't remember my older boys caring that much.
Maybe we can make it cool in highschools.. I just had the line:
"Jump, Don't Hump" come to mind for an abstinence push. What's wrong with me??

My Savanna loves jump rope too! Glad she is enjoying soccer, that is great. And for you Katy I think you really need to work on that slogan!
